Terms & Conditions

These terms govern access to the CogentStack website, account services, subscriptions, and hosted workspace features.

Last updated: 14 August 2026

Using CogentStack

You must use CogentStack lawfully and must not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, misuse another person’s account, or use the service to infringe the rights of others.

Accounts and organisations

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity authorised through your account, organisation, devices, and credentials. Notify us promptly if you believe access has been compromised.

Subscriptions and licences

Features may depend on an active subscription or licence. Plan scope, duration, seats, and renewal terms shown when a subscription is purchased form part of these terms. Desktop software is also governed by the EULA.

Your projects and content

You retain responsibility for projects, files, prompts, instructions, and other material you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use that material and to instruct CogentStack to process it.

Service availability

We work to provide a reliable service, but features may change and access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. Beta and tour features may be modified or withdrawn.

Intellectual property

CogentStack and its software, design, documentation, trademarks, and service materials remain owned by their respective rights holders. No ownership is transferred except for the limited rights expressly granted under these terms or the EULA.

Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to applicable law, CogentStack is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, and you remain responsible for reviewing generated work, backups, release decisions, and production use.

Suspension, termination, and changes

Access may be suspended or terminated for material breach, security risk, non-payment, or unlawful use. We may update these terms as the service develops and will publish the current version here.
